So I have the entire workspace for designing the app :)

Just checked out LiveView, and there’s one aspect of AirDisplay that makes it worth the extra money by comparison. Unless I just haven’t found the feature in LiveView, it only maps to a portion of one of your existing displays. It’s handy to have AirDisplay actually create another display so I don’t lose screen space for the preview window. But hats off to Nicholas for putting such an awesome tool out there gratis!

(I don’t know if LiveView has any issue with the NVidea cards in 2009 MBPs and a few other models, but AirDisplay and all other apps that use 3d party drivers run into a glitch in Apple’s display code in Lion. You have to be sure to put your Mac to sleep and wake it up after any login or restart, or else your mouse/trackpad button gets stuck in the down position. Go figure.)

The view stays right-side up on the iphone and you can get to work!
